A food and beverage manager is needed at a hotel in Hatfield, Pretoria. Making a good first impression and surpassing client expectations through effective delivery and amiable service with a positive attitude will be the individual’s responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for making sure the F&B Outlet(s) meets its revenue targets.
- Revenue Control
- Total accountability for the long-term viability and financial performance of the F&B division.
- Helps to guarantee that the staff of the food and beverage outlet(s) establishes and maintains guest satisfaction.
- Contributes to maintaining appropriate staffing levels across the F&B outlet/s.
Requirements:
- Matric
- Hospitality Certificate or Hospitality Management Diploma qualification will be an advantage
- At least 5 years’ experience within the hospitality industry in 4* property.
- Must have at least 18 months of management or supervisory experience
- Must be standards orientated
- Excellent knowledge of Opera and Micros with specific reference to Point of Sales.
- Good knowledge of Food and Beverage
- Excellent numeracy, discipline, organization, attention to detail, push towards deadlines, and cost control abilities are crucial.
- Excellent Communication Skills in English and Isizulu and / or IsiXhosa will be advantage
- High degree of self-motivation and ambition
- Skills to work both independently and as part of a team
- Time management
