F&B Manager - Hatfield, Pretoria

Location: Hatfield, Pretoria

A food and beverage manager is needed at a hotel in Hatfield, Pretoria. Making a good first impression and surpassing client expectations through effective delivery and amiable service with a positive attitude will be the individual’s responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for making sure the F&B Outlet(s) meets its revenue targets.
Revenue Control
Total accountability for the long-term viability and financial performance of the F&B division.
Helps to guarantee that the staff of the food and beverage outlet(s) establishes and maintains guest satisfaction.
Contributes to maintaining appropriate staffing levels across the F&B outlet/s.

Requirements:

Matric
Hospitality Certificate or Hospitality Management Diploma qualification will be an advantage
At least 5 years’ experience within the hospitality industry in 4* property.
Must have at least 18 months of management or supervisory experience
Must be standards orientated
Excellent knowledge of Opera and Micros with specific reference to Point of Sales.
Good knowledge of Food and Beverage
Excellent numeracy, discipline, organization, attention to detail, push towards deadlines, and cost control abilities are crucial.
Excellent Communication Skills in English and Isizulu and / or IsiXhosa will be advantage
High degree of self-motivation and ambition
Skills to work both independently and as part of a team
Time management
