Salary Package

The successful candidate will receive an annual salary ranging from R1,216,824 to R1,433,355, as part of an all-inclusive remuneration package.

Location

This position is based at the National Office in Pretoria.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • An NQF Level 7 qualification in Information Technology recognized by SAQA.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience at a middle or senior management level in applications analysis and design, particularly in a learning and development environment.
  • A Nyukela Certificate (Certificate for entry into the Service Management Service from the National School of Government).

Knowledge and Skills

Candidates should demonstrate:

  • Understanding of the Corporate Governance of Justice College Policy Framework and the Justice System.
  • Familiarity with the Public Finance Management Act, financial management, regulatory frameworks, and departmental financial instructions.
  • Strategic capability and leadership skills.
  • Expertise in program and project management, financial management, and change management.
  • Strong knowledge management and service delivery innovation.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • People management and empowerment abilities.
  • Client orientation and effective communication skills.
  • A commitment to honesty and integrity.

Key Responsibilities

The Business Applications Manager will be responsible for:

  • Managing the development and implementation of the business applications strategy and operational deliverables.
  • Conducting research on best practice models, technological developments, and trends in business learning and development applications.
  • Coordinating the implementation of curriculum development, learner assessment, and delivery mode strategies.
  • Facilitating training programs and implementing plans for business applications and systems.
  • Identifying aims and intended learning outcomes for the curriculum related to business applications and systems.
  • Managing human, financial, and other resources effectively.
