Job Opportunity: Entrepreneurship Development Officer
Salary Package
The annual salary for this position is R376,413.
Location
This role is based in Pretoria.
Requirements
To be eligible for this position, candidates must have:
- A Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 7) in Economics, Public Administration, Development Studies, Business Management, or an equivalent qualification recognized by SAQA.
- A minimum of 3 years’ relevant work experience in entrepreneurship or enterprise development.
- Proficiency in MS Office Packages; a valid driver’s license is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities
The Entrepreneurship Development Officer will be responsible for:
- Conducting research on factors affecting entrepreneurship development, including desktop research and gathering information to inform the development of frameworks.
- Contributing to the development and review of policies, strategies, and implementation frameworks that support entrepreneurship.
- Developing standard operating procedures (SOPs), templates, and maintaining databases.
- Coordinating information requests from entrepreneurs regarding access to education, advocacy, innovation, and appropriate technologies.
- Designing programs to support youth-owned businesses and implementing youth support interventions.
- Monitoring and coordinating the submission of reports by implementation partners and maintaining records of quarterly and annual reports.
- Providing general administrative support to the entrepreneurship business unit.
- Communicating effectively with stakeholders, clients, management, and colleagues through written reports, verbal communication, and formal presentations/workshops.
