Salary Package
The successful candidate will receive an annual salary of R376,413.
Location
This position is based in Pretoria.
Requirements
Candidates must possess:
- A Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 7) in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a relevant equivalent qualification recognized by SAQA.
- A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a Financial Management environment.
- Basic knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act and Treasury Regulations.
- A postgraduate qualification in Accounting, Finance, or Economics will be considered an added advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office Packages.

Key Responsibilities
The Financial Management Officer will be responsible for:
- Providing budget support services to public entities, including:
- Obtaining funding requests and performance reports from public entities.
- Preparing quarterly and annual analysis reports.
- Facilitating the evaluation of strategic and annual performance plans.
- Assisting in the development and finalization of shareholder compacts.
- Coordinating the transfer of funds to public entities.
- Analyzing expenditure patterns and reporting on deviations from projections and budgets.
- Performing general administrative functions, including secretariat services.
- Distributing budget documents and maintaining databases.
- Filing documents according to departmental-approved systems.
- Communicating effectively with stakeholders, clients, management, and colleagues through written reports, verbal communication, and formal presentations/workshops.
